Hamilton away

Postponed due to severe weather.
Once again most the games for today Saturday 18th December have been called off. Two SPL games went ahead Kilmarnock vs Hibs, and Hearts vs Inverness. Killie beating Hibs 2-1 then the Highlanders taking a point in a score draw at Tynecastle 1-1. Well done the Caley.

Weather halts SPL action

The Winter weather coming so early has put the league games in turmoil. Good result and game at weekend played by Caley against our rivals Rangers taking a draw. No other games played. Only thing that's really worth talking about. Fair play to the Highlanders they out played the Huns. Excellent result 1-1 well done Terry Butcher.

Celtic sign Wonderkid

Celtic sign Dylan McGeouch from our closest rivals Rangers. This a major transfer coup as the young starlet quite some player he's pictured below:

Nice to get one over the Huns :-)

Hope Matches are on

I hope that the weather picks up so that games this weekend go ahead. The weather has been absolutely atrocious, snow lying worst start to winter in many years!

Celtic 2 Inverness 2

This result upsets me. Celtic having been 2-0 up, let both Foran and Grant Munro get the Highlanders level. That is the last two games Celtic have lost the lead. Goals from the midfielder Sung-Yong and Paddy McCourt both on 38mins and 65mins should have definately sealed the three points as this was two thirds into the match. I have to say though fair play to Inverness as there grit and determination got them back in the match as they scored on 70th and 83rd minute. Here and as well if im honest with there been 7-10mins left they could have taken all three points! Not impressed one bit I honestly had this as a Celtic win even though the Highlanders were now unbeaten a whole year away from home, we slowly slipping losing points we have already won...

Tuesday 23 November 2010

Celtic 1 Dundee Utd 1

Absolutely shocked by this result as after seeing the game we should have collected all three points in the first half. Although striker Gary Hooper created lots of opportunities and scored the opening goal on 23mins we still never got the 2nd goal. I think that's key as Dundee Utd were held out and never hit the net till Sean Dillon did so in the 90th minute.
Gutted ain't the word!

Tuesday 16 November 2010

St Mirren 0 Celtic 1

What can I say im delighted with the Tims stealing all three points of St. Mirren in Paisley on Sunday. How late did we leave it though to late if you ask me it took until the 92nd minute for us to score.

I admire the determination of our strikers more so that of Hooper who for me is really starting to become a decent player for us! Really lucky result as I listened to the game and if im honest we were lucky.. Pick it up Celtic lets destroy Dundee Utd this week and from the start not in the last minutes.

Thursday 11 November 2010

Hearts 2 Celtic 0

This game played at Tynecastle, was not a game I want to remember if I am honest. Getting beat by a Hearts side that are now sitting in 4th in the league isn't all that bad. Lets be honest now though if Celtic want to win the league they certainly need to win or get a result when our neighbouring rivals Rangers also get beat. The goals were scored by Black on 27mins and Templeton on 57mins. Celtic battled hard with ten men as Joe Ledley was controversially sent off on the 56 minute mark. Disappointing result. Not happy St. Mirren away lets get back on form!

Tuesday 9 November 2010

Celtic 9 Aberdeen 0

This was a incredible victory at the weekend just past and as the heading suggests it was a white wash Celtic scoring nine goals. Another fact that's equally incredible is the two front men for the Tim's striker's Anthony Stokes and Gary Hooper both scored hat-tricks. Added to that Aberdeen midfielder Paul Hartley struck out an arm to block Ki’s goal bound shot in the box and referee Alan Muir immediately pointed to the spot before sending-off the former Celtic midfielder. First to score was Stokes on 26mins then came a flurry of goals all scored by Stokes, Hooper, Ledley and a McCourt penalty at the end in the 85th min. There was a goal from the other side at Parkhead coming from Magennis but unfortunately the player put the ball in his own net. Backed by a jubilant crowd, the Hoops went on the hunt for double figures, and only an excellent stop from Langfield prevented Stokes from reaching that target. Moments later, the final whistle sounded to bring the curtain down on a memorable day in Paradise. A nine goal rout stunning performance. Totally delighted!

Monday 1 November 2010

St. Johnstone 0 Celtic 3

Well excellent victory's at Mcdairmid Park in the space of three days the first beating them 2-3 going up 0-3 in first quarter hour to take us further in the Co-operative Cup then beating them 0-3 on Saturday in the league. Neil Lennon done the job superbly twice away from home with a close cup encounter with only one goal separating the two sides. Then we went back to Perth to hammer them again Niall McGinn scoring on 2mins and sealing the game on 89mins.

The other goal came from Izaguirre on 41mins to take a comfortable lead in to half-time.Final score 0-3 brilliant Bhoys and with our rivals drawing with the Caley at Ibrox happy days!

Come on the Bhoys

Celtic play St. Johnston in Perth in the cup tonight lets make up for the defeat to our rivals.

Tuesday 26 October 2010

Celtic 1 Rangers 3

100% no more as a follower of the green and whites I am absolutely gutted. We got hammered. To take the lead just before half-time, and for our rivals to come out winners isn't a common occurrence. You can probably tel because i ain't going to even say one more thing apart from the last two Rangers scored from one of our old players, Kenny Miller!
And it was at Parkhead,
Could not get any worse.....

Sunday 17 October 2010

Dundee Utd 1 Celtic 2

Thanks to Gary Hooper once again the 100% record remains in tact scoring 1 minute from time. The striker pictured below scored both of the goals one on 13mins then as I have said on the 89th minute stopping the blushes as David Goodwillie  scored to equal the game just before the half finished on 38 minutes.

So well done Neil Lennon you are doing a fabulous job directing this new squad to joint top. The togetherness of the team shining through.

Next week is the one as we take the Rangers to our lovely Parkhead, I am confident and looking forward to an enthralling and some what exciting Old Firm.

Come on the Hoops lets hammer the Huns!!!

Saturday 16 October 2010

Gutted

Scotland come on get a grip 4-6 formation against the Czech's not good enough getting beat 1-0 GUTTED!..

Monday 4 October 2010

Celtic 3 Hamilton 1

Well well to say I am pleased is a understatement what a shock the 'Accies' gave us 3mins in when McLaughlin scored a header. Then after that the punishment continued with a array of chances the best of them going to Hamilton's striker Hasselbaink clean through on the keeper but he bottled the chance. Im delighted to say that it was short lived and Celtic settled with Maloney scoring a header on the 25min. 1-1 and Celtic now cruising its after the half-time break and Maloney wins a free-kick here it is in the blog below. For me this is contender for goal of the season I loved it plus the way in which it was converted was class
2-1. With the bhoys now playin good football the weight was lifted off their shoulders so full steam ahead now and in the 71st minute, Hooper extended Celtic’s advantage with an excellent opportunist goal. After Imrie conceded possession, the striker fastened on to the ball in a flash and then buried a shot into the far corner. Cumon the hoops! 3-1 excellent come back and ended up in control 100% record still going. Superb!

Keep It Up

Come on Celtic keep this winning run going. Thrash the Hamilton on Saturday!

Tuesday 28 September 2010

Celtic 2 Hibernian 1

Excellent game on Saturday past, at Parkhead with a win for Neil Lennon's squad. They beat Hibs 2-1 with three stunning goals in the match the first scored by Celtic's captain Scott Brown. An energetic run from midfield with a classic finish good start only five minutes in. The second scored by defender Glen Loovens a header which took the match to 2-0 fifty one minutes gone. A Celtic die hard I find this hard to say but the next goal scored by Hibs striker Riordan on fifty four minutes was superb a real class lob over keeper Fraser Forster sublime finish from outside the box. Celtic still had to keep their cool as there was still thirty six minutes normal time remaining but with good possesion and strong defending they completed the task. Brilliant.

Thursday 23 September 2010

Celtic 6 Inverness 0

This match was played on Wednesday the 22nd of September at Parkhead and the Hoops punished the highlanders sending them home with a 6 goal defeat. There were 3 goalscorers, Samaras taking the match ball home as he scored a hat-trick 17th minute easing the pressure then on 37 minutes and 57 minutes respectfully. Gary Hooper got his first competitive goal scoring in the first half. Stokes then scored in the second half and late on got a penalty which he converted taking the tally to six. In the end a superb display of a team on good form and scoring comfortably. The best team won.

Tuesday 21 September 2010

Kilmarnock 1 Celtic 2

Celtic keep their 100% record intact, to continue the perfect start. After going 1-0 down Anthony Stokes came on to replace the crocked Paddy McCourt. This change that manager Lennon rolled out turned out to be a great decision as striker Stokes was man of the match. The game played at Rugby Park was won by Celtic, in the end the striker winning a penalty in the first half which Daryl Murphy scored and then scoring himself later in the second half. This result puts the hoops joint top with Rangers but with the huns 4-0 win over Dundee United, they go top in goal difference. Brilliant comeback well impressed.
